| | Abstract: |  The invention relates to a method and a device for spraying insecticide and phytosanitary liquids in the form of drops of a controlled, uniform size from an aircraft, including a helicopter or aeroplane. The inventive method can be used to form a very fine steady jet of liquid through a hole having a much larger diameter than same when pressure is applied against the liquid to be conveyed through the hole surrounded by a gas current which focuses and extrudes same. The result is a device that discharges liquid in the form of fine drops of a controlled, uniform size over a large discharge area with high flow rates and with a much lower aerodynamic resistance than any other existing aerosol dispersion system.
